GDPR
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 October 2026
Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit this website or contact us, what we use it for and what your rights are, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR") and Portuguese Law No. 58/2019.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Celmira Nascimento, with salons in Odivelas and Pontinha.
- Address: Rua Guilherme Gomes Fernandes 17 A, 2675-370 Odivelas
- Contact for privacy matters: autoestima.cos.store@gmail.com
2. What data we process
- Browsing the website. We do not use cookies or any analytics or advertising tools. The online shop basket is stored only in your browser (products and quantities, with no personal data). The service that hosts the website may record technical access data, such as your IP address, your browser and the date and time of the request, to keep the website secure and working.
- Contacts and bookings. When you talk to us to book or to ask questions (WhatsApp, phone, Instagram, email or in person), we process the data you give us: your name, contact details, the services you want, dates and the content of your messages.
- Online shop orders. The order form does not store anything or send anything to us on its own: it puts together a WhatsApp message with the products, your name, the delivery method and, if you enter them, your address, tax number (NIF) and notes. We only receive this data when you send the message.
3. What we use the data for and on what legal basis
- To answer your requests, manage your bookings and prepare, deliver and invoice your orders: steps taken before entering into a contract and performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To comply with legal obligations, such as invoicing: compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
- To keep the website secure and working properly: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising without your consent and we do not make automated decisions about you.
4. Who we share it with
- The platforms you choose to contact us on (WhatsApp and Instagram, owned by Meta) also process the data under their own privacy policies.
- The provider that hosts this website, only to keep it running.
- The carrier, when you choose home delivery: only your name, address and contact details for the delivery.
- Public authorities, when the law requires it.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In those cases, the transfer follows the safeguards set out in the GDPR, such as adequacy decisions of the European Commission or standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep the data
- Messages and booking data: for as long as needed to manage the booking and our relationship with you. After that, they are deleted.
- Order data: for as long as the return period and the product guarantee last.
- Invoicing documents: for the period that tax law requires them to be kept.
- Technical access logs: for the period set by the hosting provider.
6. Your rights
At any time, you may ask for access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you may object to processing. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it whenever you wish, without affecting what was done before.
To exercise these rights, contact us at autoestima.cos.store@gmail.com. We reply within one month at most. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados, the Portuguese data protection authority (www.cnpd.pt).
7. Photographs
The photographs published on the website show our team, our salons and work done by us. If you appear in one of them and do not want it to stay published, talk to us and we will remove it.
8. Cookies
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. It only stores the shop basket in your browser, which is necessary for the shop to work. The details are in the Cookie Policy.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the law or the way we work changes. The date at the top shows the version in force.
